The poster was used at a VU performabce at Cleveland's basement club La Cave in 1968. The preformance was actually recorded and released as a live record, The Velvet Underground - La Cave 1968. This show was notable as it included the first performance with Doug Yule on guitar, who had replaced John Cale after he had left the band. This poster/sign comes from the estate of Velvet Underground guitarist Sterling Morrison (Boo-Hooray).
