1969. 34” x 22.5”. Very RARE 1st printing of a large double sized concert poster created for the 1969 Isle Of Wight Festival in the UK between August 29th and the 31st. NEAR FINE. Modest creasing, nicks and toning.

Approximately 150,000 people attended the festival on the tiny island's Wootton location. Bob Dylan, fresh from a long retreat following his 1967 motorcycle crash, appeared with the Band, who opened the set with selections from their first album. A who's who of British Rock acts also appeared at the three-day event, including Fat Mattress, the Pretty Things, the Moody Blues, Joe Cocker, King Crimson, and The Who. The double sized poster is much rarer to find than the standard single piece poster, which is the image on the left of the poster. It is printed on very thin paper with a great portrait of Dylan in dark glasses.
