A first printing concert poster advertising the 1970 Isle Of Wight Pop Festival, featuring an all-star lineup of Jimi Hendrix, The Who, The Doors, Sly & The Family Stone, Free, Emerson Lake & Palmer, The Moody Blues, Joni Mitchell, James Taylor, Family, Taste, Spirit, Pentangle, Jethro Tull and many others. This first printing does not list Miles Davis or Tiny Tim, who were added to the lineup after the poster was printed; they only appear on the 2nd printing.

The festival would feature Jimi Hendrix’s final UK performance as he would pass away less than three weeks later in London. Also on the bill were The Doors, who would only play two more concerts the following December after which Jim Morrison would head to Paris, and, well, we know the rest. Designed by artist David Roe. A beautiful and iconic piece of rock & roll history, with one of the best line-ups ever. RARE.
