January, 1975. 8 1/2" x 11 3/4". 16pp. Rare first issue of Dark Star Magazine, with interviews and articles on The Grateful Dead, Jefferson Starship, John Cipollina; record reviews include artists David Crosby, Neil Young and Linda Ronstadt. VERY GOOD. Absent marks or inscriptions; some foxing to the cover, which has modest top edge fraying, expected toning.
Dark Star was a 1970's rock music magazine first published in 1975 and continued sporadically for 25 issues when it finally folded in December 1980. It featured record reviews, interviews, discographies and music news mostly from the American music scene. Dark Star publishers were Mike Bushill, and Nick Ralph and was based in Middlesex, United Kingdom.
