circa 1969. Four-page Donation appeal to support John Sinclair, who was serving a 9 1/2-10-year sentence for posessing two joints of marijuana. The sentence was criticized by many as severely harsh, and it resulted in a prominent and continuous protest movement led by celebrity figures of the 1960s counterculture.
