Produced for a benefit concert after charges were brought against transgender artist Wayne County stemming from an altercation at a March 1976 concert where County broke the Dictators “Handsome Dick” Manitoba’s collar bone after Manitoba heckled County w/homophobic taunts. The NY punk/new wave community organized this legal aid benefit featuring performances by “Blondie, Devine, Richard Hell, Johnny Thunders, Dee Dee Ramone, Suicide, Divine, The Dolls” and more.
