Becoming a Valued Member of the Orlando Events Community
Bynx has been open in downtown Orlando for just over two years now, but we’re still sort of new to the scene. One part of our business that has been steadily growing since day one is our Bynx events schedule; what began as booking musical acts on the weekend has transformed into a weekly calendar of live music, comedy, open mics, arts and crafts nights, and more. Needless to say, Orlando’s diversity is coming to the fore at Bynx Orlando.
A Contributor to Culture
As fans and supporters of artists and musicians — especially here in Orlando — we’re passionate about the opportunity Bynx provides us to contribute to our local culture. Sine opening, we’ve been fortunate to work with several Orlando creatives to develop recurring event concepts that give people the chance to shine on stage in our intimate and inspiring café environment.
One such example is the Bynx Showcase, hosted by local musician and entrepreneur, Jordan Green. On the second Wednesday of every month, Jordan gives one featured artist the spotlight for a short performance, which is followed by an open mic that allows other performers to show off their talents.
Another great event is our bi-weekly Downtown Comedy night, where local comedians bring laughter to our little corner of Church St. This is one of the most popular and consistent events we offer at Bynx.
We’re also especially keen to help young songwriters and creators, and try to focus less on cover acts and more on originality. When we have artists perform at Bynx we encourage them to indulge in their own works — and we also offer recording packages for both the stage and the studio.

Live events however, are not our only focus. We also rent out our space for private parties, gatherings and ticketed events. Whether it’s a corporate quarterly meeting, a brand launch or a social, our beautiful café is the perfect place to hang out. We aim to be as flexible as possible to support your event’s needs.
