Damage -- Complete Set [Magazine]
- Description
San Francisco, CA. July, 1979 – June, 1981. Each issue ~ 40 pages in length, printed black and white, with colour added to the front pages. VERY GOOD; expected toning and modest edgewear, but maintained in excellent condition. An uncommon complete set.
The Bay Area’s answer to LA’s Slash magazine, and equivalent to New York Rocker; unparalleled early punk coverage of the flourishing San Francisco punk scene. The newsprint zine featured bold graphics, photography, and loads of writing and interviews of great historical importance to anyone following the early California punk scene. Thirteen issues were published, including a free special edition released between the 9th and 10th issue for the Western Front Festival, which Damage co-sponsored. The final issue was a double publication, #12/#13.
