The Spy Who Came In From The Cold is a monumental Cold War-era espionage classic, the first to win both the Crime Writer's Association Gold Dagger and the Mystery Writers of America award. In 2005 it was awarded the "Dagger of Daggers" among all fifty winners of the Dagger Awards over the history of the Crime Writers' Association, and selected as one of the All-Time 100 novels by Time magazine. It was the basis for the 1965 film starring Richard Burton, Claire Bloom, and Oskar Werner.
