An original program for the 1964 Newport Folk Festival, in Newport, R.I. Bob Dylan appeared three different times in the 60's at The Newport Festival, most notably in 1965 when he “went electric” at Newporta and became somewhat of a pariah to true folk traditionalists. 

This program is filled with photos, performer biographies, essays, and a schedule of performance. Other artists that appeared include Johnny Cash, Mississippi John Hurt, Jose Feliciano, Judy Collins, Peter Paul & Mary, Pete Seeger, Dave Van Ronk, and many more.
