This particular and the most collectiable of the published issues includes a discussion with Timothy Leary, Allen Ginsberg, Allan Watts and Gary Snyder on drug use, spirituality, sex, and other current topics of the day. This group also forms the famous front cover photo. Also included in this collectible issue is an article on William Burroughs and his views on drugs; Snyder's poetry and articles on psychedelic and New Age spirituality.

The Oracle was known for is psychedelic publications and being a proponent of counterculture. It featured such notable beat writers as Ginsberg, Snyder, Michael McClure and Lawrence Ferlinghetti.
