New York: circa 1970. 4" x 5". An original, unused adhesive sticker issued by the Yippies announcing a rally held in support of the 21 Black Panther members accused of planned coordinated bombing and long-range rifle attacks on two police stations and an education office in New York City in 1969.
Reads: “Yippie Blow Out, Conspire in Sheeps Meadow, Easter Sunday, Free the Panther 21”. All 21 members were acquitted by a jury in May 1971 after revelations during the trial that police infiltrators played key organizing roles. FINE.
