At Bynx, we've always believed that great communities are built around shared experiences. Whether it's over coffee, conversation, or creativity, Bynx exists to bring people together. That's why we're excited to introduce The Closed Mic, a new monthly songwriter series hosted by local musician asleepinplanes.
A Monthly Experience
Unlike a traditional open mic, The Closed Mic is an intentionally curated listening experience. Each month, we'll invite three to four local songwriters and musicians to share original music in an intimate setting where every voice has room to be heard.
The idea is simple: create a comfortable atmosphere where artists can feel supported, audiences can truly listen, and local music can continue to thrive.
Whether you're discovering a new favorite artist or simply looking for an evening that feels a little more connected, The Closed Mic is designed to make space for those moments.
Connecting Artists & Listeners
For Bynx, this event is another way for us to support local artists and give our community opportunities to experience the incredible creative talent that already exists right here in Orlando. After all, Bynx is more than a coffee shop —we want it to be a place where ideas are shared, friendships are formed, and art has a home.
Every month will feature a different lineup of musicians, making each gathering unique while keeping the same welcoming atmosphere. Come grab a drink, settle in, and spend an evening listening to the songs behind the artists.
